Voice of the Week: Tracy Brabin

Northern actress Tracy Brabin has long been a favourite face on television, stage, and film, becoming well known for her role as Tricia Armstrong in Coronation Street in 1994.

She went on to play ‘Roxy’ in Eastenders and ‘Carole’ in Emmerdale, and in 2014 played Linda/Sharon/Annie in The Full Monty at The Sheffield Crucible/Noel Coward Theatre as well as Mari Hoff in Little Voice at Darby Playhouse. From 2008-2010 she played lovable mum ‘Sarah’ in the long running Sainsbury’s adverts, and can currently be seen in commercials for

Tracy recently returned from Singapore where she played ‘Clara’ in The Vortex alongside Jane Seymour, and earlier this year played ‘Paulina’ in Guildford Shakespeare Company’s The Winter Tale. Her first feature as a writer, Paradise UK, is currently in pre-production, and she is also working on a six part family drama for ITV.

Tracy’s voice is warm,  relatable, and full of character – perfect for commercials and animation.
