Iconic actress Susan George has enjoyed a long and illustrious career in film, theatre and television, including celebrated roles in ‘Straw Dogs’ with Dustin Hoffman, ‘Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry’ with Peter Fonda ‘Mandingo’ with James Mason and many more. She is also a much regarded singer songwriter and in 1990, for a film that she and her late husband Simon MacCorkindale produced, she won the British Film Institute Anthony Asquith award for best new composer.
